Total Joint Camp

Total Joint Camp

Put Your Care in Our Hands

Perry County Memorial Hospital Joint Camp is an innovative approach to joint rehabilitation in an atmosphere of wellness. With an emphasis on patient education and rehabilitation therapy, the patient experience is less stressful and more focused on returning to normal daily activities. The homelike atmosphere and encouragement from the care team enhances the patient’s experience and often results in a shorter stay at the hospital.

Before surgery, you will have the opportunity to attend a Total Joint Camp orientation which includes a discussion about what to expect before, during and after surgery. You’ll also meet members of your healthcare team and have an opportunity to ask questions. Our goal is to ensure the highest standards of medical care and a high quality experience for you. We are committed to keeping you informed, and helping you become an active partner in your healthcare. We will do everything we can to make your stay with us as pleasant as possible. You will find important instructions and information to prepare you for surgery in the education packet link below. It will answer many of the questions you may have, and clearly outline the things you need to do before, during, and after surgery. Planning tools, advice on medications, diet and exercise are also included. Please take the time to read the materials carefully.
