skilled pain specialists will create an individualized care plan to help you regain function for
your daily life activities.

Early Intervention: The Key to Effective Pain Management

When it comes to chronic pain, early intervention can make a significant difference in
treatment outcomes. The sooner pain is diagnosed and treated, the easier it often is to
manage effectively.

If you’re experiencing pain that:

  • Persists beyond a few months
  • Interferes with your daily activities
  • Affects your mood or relationships
  • Doesn’t respond to over-the-counter treatments

We encourage you to seek professional help. Don’t wait for the pain to become severe or
debilitating before reaching out. Early treatment can help prevent the pain from becoming
chronic and may reduce the need for more intensive interventions in the future.

When Do I Need It?

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, approximately 19.6 million
Americans suffer from chronic pain – pain that has limited their daily activities on most
days or every day during the past 6 months.

Chronic pain varies in intensity and frequency. Some experience chronic pain constantly
while others only feel it in episodes. If pain is limiting your ability to perform daily tasks, it is
time to get help. In addition to physical effects, chronic pain can have psychological
effects, such as fatigue, mood changes, stress, anxiety, depression, irritability, or restless
nights of sleep.
