Our Obstetrics Department

The Obstetrics Department at Perry County Memorial Hospital has been delivering babies for over 50 years. Our experienced labor and delivery team is here to provide you with exceptional and personalized care. Our staff strives to provide the best obstetrical (OB) services for expectant mothers and their families. We believe it is essential to help families transition from the hospital to home with their new baby, whether they are first time parents or part of a growing family.

We are fully equipped to meet all your prenatal, labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care needs. Your entire birthing experience will take place in a private, comfortable, and caring environment from admission to discharge, and our undivided attention is guaranteed.

Perry County Memorial Hospital is proud to offer two obstetrical and gynecological providers that serve several locations. We are here to provide support for all of your needs.

Our board-certified OB/GYN, Dr. Ed Kemper, sees patients at our Tell City Clinic location. He will begin providing services at the 13th Street Clinic soon. He specializes in both obstetrical and gynecological services.

Dr. Micia Roby, Family Practice-Obstetrician, is new to Perry County and began serving patients at the 13th Street Clinic in January 2021. She specializes in both family practice and obstetrical services.

Both providers are now accepting new patients.

We can help you feel more comfortable and answer any questions you may have about fertility, pregnancy, labor, delivery, and parenthood in general.
