Use Our Fully Equipped & 24/7 Staffed Perry County Laboratory

Perry County Memorial’s lab offers an entire spectrum of outpatient testing services. The Perry County Memorial Hospital’s laboratory is right on the premises, meaning there is no reason for Perry County residents to travel out of town for their lab testing requests. Turnaround time is fast, results are accurate, and most specimens never have to leave the hospital. Testing services are available at any time of day, 24/7, to any person with a doctor’s prescription for a lab order, even for doctors from out of town.

The admissions and staff at the lab for my blood draw are always as courteous as can be and we really appreciate it all. So glad that we have Perry County Memorial here to go to.

Our testing services include:

Chemistry: Testing for diabetes, cardiac function, cholesterol levels, and thyroid studies, among others.
Hematology/Coagulation: Blood counts for anemia tests and blood thinner levels.
Microbiology: Tests that ensure proper antibiotic treatments are being prescribed for infections.
Blood Banking: Testing for prenatal workups, transfusion therapy for bleeding problems, or chemotherapy patients needing blood.
Urinalysis: This form of testing is done by a patient-provided urine sample used to collect regarding kidney function and bladder infections.
Serology: Testing that detects infectious diseases such as HIV/AID, mononucleosis (mono) and hepatitis, among others.
Toxicology: Testing for therapeutic or illicit drug monitoring.
