Kayla Gehlhausen
Kayla Gehlhausen is the Chief Nursing Officer here at Perry County Memorial
Hospital since 2022.
In 2002 Kayla came to PCMH and started as an aide in Med Surg. Kayla has
served in various roles in her time at PCMH including working as an aide,
LPN, and RN in Med Surg
and ICU, Oncology and Outpatient Clinic and Home Care departments and the
Director of Patient Care Services, overseeing Home Care, Med Surg, Oncology,
and OB. Kayla has over 20 years of experience in healthcare and 10 years
of leadership experience. Kayla obtained her BSN in Nursing from WGU as
well as her MBA in Healthcare Administration from the same university.
Kayla is originally from Evanston, now residing in rural Perry County with her husband. Kayla also has one daughter.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and being outdoors.
