Perry County Memorial’s lab offers an entire spectrum of outpatient testing services. They are available 24/7 to anyone with a doctor-prescribed lab order, even if the doctor is from out of town. Departments include:



Chemistry: Testing for Diabetes, Cardiac Function, Cholesterol Levels, and Thyroid Studies to name a few.

Hematology/Coagulation: Blood Counts for Anemia Tests and Blood Thinner Levels.

Microbiology: Tests that ensure proper antibiotic treatments are being prescribed for infections.

Blood Banking: Testing for Pre-Natal (pregnancy) workups and Transfusion Therapy, for bleeding problems, chemotherapy patients needing blood, and trauma.

Urinalysis: Testing to provide information regarding kidney function and bladder infections.

Serology: Testing that detects Infectious Diseases such as HIV, Mono and Hepatitis.
