PCMH Announces Reduced Lab Prices

Tell City, Indiana – Perry County Memorial Hospital (PCMH) announced a new ambulatory lab fee schedule that reduces its outpatient lab charges by an average of over 80% from previous levels. This lab fee schedule was made effective March 1st, 2018. The ambulatory lab fee schedule applies to any outpatient lab customers of Perry County Memorial Hospital or any of the 5 PCMH clinics: Tell City Clinic, Troy Medical Clinic, Cannelton Medical Clinic, Perry County Family Practice (Leopold), and Spencer County Clinic. The fee schedule also covers patients requiring outpatient lab services ordered by non-PCMH providers who send lab orders to PCMH either with the patient in person or sending them in electronically or over the phone/fax.

PCMH is making this change to continue the effort to lower costs to members of our community who seek medical care. This represents another milestone in the effort to complement extended urgent care clinic services being provided after hours at the Tell City Clinic. The commitment to providing high quality care at a great value is core to the PCMH mission. Questions on this fee schedule and the new prices can be directed to the PCMH financial counseling team at paymybill@pcmhospital.org.
