TELL CITY, Indiana – Perry County Memorial Hospital (PCMH) is pleased to announce a new Direct to Employer network product that is now available to make health care more convenient, accessible, and affordable for the local community. This new product offering was made available to PCMH through St. Vincent Health, Wellness and Preventive Care Institute, Inc., an affiliate of Ascension St. Vincent. Area employers now have a new health care option by replacing their broad health plan network with our new Direct to Employer network as a means to reduce health care expenses for employees and their family members.
The local and surrounding communities have known PCMH to deliver their local healthcare needs. Through the Direct to Employer network, employees will have access to care from PCMH and Ascension St. Vincent providers for complete and comprehensive care. The collaboration between PCMH and Ascension St. Vincent through our Management Services Agreement allows PCMH to deliver new and efficient alternatives to health care delivery.
Brian Herwig, President and CEO of Perry County Memorial Hospital, stated, “the agreement with Ascension St. Vincent was in part to expand services offered to patients in Perry County, to lower healthcare costs and to provide a continuum of care delivery from primary care to highly specialized tertiary services. This agreement provides access for local employers to lower cost and have access to a full continuum of care.”
