Community Links

Perry County is located in the extreme south central part of Indiana along the Ohio River between Evansville, Indiana and Louisville, Kentucky. About half of the county's population lives in the incorporated communities of Tell City, Cannelton, and Troy along the river. The remaining population lives in the smaller unincorporated communities and rural areas along the river and amongst its beautiful hills and forests. We are a rural, but progressive community with an abundance of natural amenities and a good share of major national and international corporations.
